Somerset County is conducting a comprehensive inventory of its roadway guide rail system. In this project, the type of the existing guide rail, its location, and quantity for the entire county roadway system will be documented. Additionally, GIS Guide Rail Mapping will be created.

Consultant crews (BOSWELL Engineering) and staff members will be collecting data along all county roadways. The project is anticipated to start the week of January 26th, 2026, and last 12 weeks.
