Art to Celebrate 25 years of historic preservation in Somerset County
Hues of History is a juried art exhibit sponsored by the Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission, Somerset County Planning Division, and Somerset County Board of County Commissioners to commemorate 25 years of historic preservation in Somerset County.
This project will capture the architectural beauty of Somerset County’s preserved historic sites, from the Colonial period to the early 20th century, as seen through the eyes of talented New Jersey artists.
Hues of History is open to all New Jersey residents, 18 years and older.

Each participating artist will be assigned a historic site to inspire them! Location assignments will be determined in order of receipt of submission forms. Please do not begin your artwork until a historic site has been assigned to you!
NOTE: There will be a $25 non-refundable entry fee per artist at the time of artwork submission. Entry fees are used solely to generate a prize pool for this juried exhibit.
