The Continuum of Care (CoC) Committee is the lead entity for Somerset County’s homelessness planning efforts and the institutional structure for the County to carry out its homelessness strategy . The CoC Committee is a federally-mandated effort that is comprised of state and local government representatives, non-profit agency representatives, and other community members who are interested in working to develop a comprehensive system of care for people who are coping with poverty and homelessness.
The Committee's primary goals are to track emerging issues and trend data, to create awareness about challenges that affect people that have special needs and to create resources and opportunities for clients and the people that care for them. The Committee meets virtually on the second Thursday of every odd month at 11 am. Meetings are open to the public and all are invited to attend.
