Somerset County provides para-transit services to senior citizens (60 years +) and persons with disabilities  (18 years+) who have no other means of transportation to a variety of destinations including medical appointments, employment opportunities, nutrition programs, and others.  Trips are provided on a time and space availability. 

Effective March 1, 2021, the Somerset County Transportation Department will provide eligible residents with expanded para-transit services. Senior citizens and people with disabilities will be able to schedule trips to businesses that provide personal services such as pharmacies, banks, credit unions, salons, and barbershops.
