DESIGNATING COUNTY COMMISSIONER MEETING AGENDA/WORK SESSIONS 2026

WHEREAS, Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, New Jersey effective January 20, 1976, also known as the "Open Public Meetings Act", required in part that a public body shall give adequate written notice of time, date and location of regular meetings to be held by such body; and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Somerset County has determined that it will hold its regular meetings during the calendar year of 2026 at specified times and dates; and

WHEREAS, it deems it would be appropriate at this time to announce such meetings for the remainder of 2026.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Somerset that regular Meetings and Work/Agenda Sessions of the Board will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room, Third Floor, County Administration Building, 20 Grove Street, Somerville, New Jersey, as follows:

Regular Meeting immediately following the Work Session meeting on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month except where noted:

Work / Agenda Meeting at 5:00 pm on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners may, on an as needed basis, in their discretion, take action at a Work/Agenda Meeting at 5:00 p.m. for matters as may come before the Board; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners may meet, on an as needed basis, prior to the second and fourth Tuesday meeting at a time to be determined in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County Administration Building, for a brief meeting to review the Agenda and other such matters as may come before the Board.
