Did you know apple picking, farm-to-table restaurants, and goat yoga are all available in Somerset County? The Somerset County Board of County Commissioners and the Somerset County Business Partnership are launching a new “Seeded in Somerset” agritourism initiative that connects the County’s rich agriculture to businesses, residents, and tourists.
The purpose is to raise awareness about the County’s homegrown agricultural products and experiences. This initiative will help promote farms and businesses that sell locally grown food and sustainable, handcrafted goods.
“We are thrilled to be launching this program to help the public become more aware of all that Somerset County has to offer. Seeded in Somerset shines a light on the County’s agricultural amenities, including seasonal pick-your-own experiences, farm-to-table dining, agricultural tours, and unique farm stays,” said Somerset County Commissioner Sara Sooy. “We’ve incorporated this agritourism theme in Somerset County’s tent at the 4-H Fair, which will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on August 6, 7, and 8, 2025.”
The location of the Somerset County 4-H Fair is 355 Milltown Road in Bridgewater.
